roles
vision & artistic direction
I founded Overtone to expand electronic music beyond club nights, combining sound, visuals, and collective energy.
My role has been to guide its artistic direction, shaping a program that connects DJs, musicians, and visual artists through immersive formats that foster experimentation and collaboration.
project management
Running Overtone means structuring projects across a diverse collective of DJs, artists, and organizers. I manage timelines, assign responsibilities, and oversee planning so ideas move from concept to execution.
Balancing creative freedom with clear coordination has been key to sustaining the space.
coordination
Overtone functions as a volunteer-based association, which requires careful coordination across many roles and levels of involvement.
I’ve worked to keep members aligned, giving visibility through meetings and communication tools while ensuring decisions remain democratic but efficient enough to meet deadlines.
logistics
The container venue is a raw industrial space that demands constant problem-solving.
I’ve handled everything from preparing infrastructure and equipment to organizing shifts and bar operations, ensuring events run smoothly and audiences can experience music in a safe and welcoming environment.
operations
Beyond single events, I manage Overtone’s day-to-day operations: keeping the space accessible, maintaining resources, and developing systems for members to use it effectively.
This operational backbone allows the collective to focus energy on creative projects and event programming.
community & partnerships
A central part of my role has been building Overtone’s network—bringing in new members, linking with other collectives, and developing partnerships that sustain our work.
From local collaborations to cultural institutions, I’ve helped position Overtone as both a community and a cultural actor in Copenhagen.

I wanted the identity to feel like the space itself—raw and stripped back. The colors and textures worked as overtones, carrying all the energy of the lights, installations, and the crowd inside.
